I am Deevakar Rogith.
A clinical informatician.
I develop technology and solutions to improve clinical decisions, reduce medical errors and automate clinical medicine. I enjoy teaching, and developing apps. I have a very diverse background - clinical medicine, psychiatry, information science, cognitive science and data science.
I have a medical degree from JIPMER, Puducherry (INDIA). After a year of residency in Psychiatry, I moved to the United States for my doctoral study.
I earned my PhD in Health Informatics from
McWilliams School of Biomedical Informatics at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston).
I am currently an Assistant Professor in the Center for Digital Health and Analytics at McWilliams School of Biomedical Informatics, Houston, TX.
